Download a JSON snapshot of visible product information on the Amazon page you choose. Import it into Seller Desk. Fields that cannot be identified remain unknown.

This is an unpacked extension for local use, not a Chrome Web Store listing. Amazon layouts vary: check captures against the page before treating them as evidence. It provides no sales estimates or unseen product database.

Install locally

  1. Download and unzip the source into a folder you keep.
  2. Open Chrome’s extension management page.
  3. If you choose to load an unpacked extension, enable Developer mode and select Load unpacked.
  4. Select the unzipped folder. Review its source and permissions before loading.
  5. On a supported Amazon product or search page, click the capture icon.
  6. Click Download visible observations, then import the JSON in Seller Desk.

Permissions and data

The helper requests activeTab, scripting and downloads. It runs after you click its button, reads visible product fields on the current Amazon page and downloads a file on your device. It does not send page content to Fernsignal, read other tabs, store an API key, make Amazon API requests or bypass access controls.

Use it only where your access and use of data are permitted. Each capture includes the page URL and observation time. Observed price and review counts do not establish future demand.
